Project Description
DFC was appointed by Affinity Living part of Select Property Group, on the Trinity Development: Riverside and Riverview projects to provide fire strategy advice for this large scale 683 apartment scheme.
Efficiency was the key for our client, extended travel distances made possible by enhanced smoke ventilation to the common corridors which increased occupant and fire fighter safety. DFC have also assisted with the site logistical planning to ensure adjacent buildings remain in full operation during construction.
DFC staff were involved in the redrafting of residential fire safety standard BS9991. This knowledge enabled clear guidance and advice provided on the adoption of open plan apartments.
