Project Description
Design Fire Consultants has conducted a fire safety review of the external wall build-ups for several Land Securities buildings in London, including One & Two Ludgate, The Zig-Zag Building and 20 Eastbourne Terrace.
This includes an appraisal of the fire strategy reports, architectural design intent drawings and contractor’s drawings. In order to provide a comprehensive assessment, a risk status has been assigned for each item reviewed, for example; insulation type, cavity barriers and fire stops. Items have subsequently been closed out or had their risk rating reduced through detailed coordination.
