Project Description
Manchester Goods Yard is a new commercial development for Allied London within the new St. John’s Quarter in Manchester. With an approximate footprint of 4,000sqm, the building will deliver independent retail opportunities at the Ground Floor with 7 storeys of office floors and 2 storeys of co-working studio units. The building is also connected with 2 storeys of basement car park.
DFC utilised BS 9999 to develop a flexible fire strategy that optimises the size and number of escape routes in the building, whilst ensuring the client’s vision for multiple potential tenancy options and fit-out designs. DFC was involved in the project from the initial concept stage, through to detailed design.
