James O’Hanlon

James joined DFC in 2020. He is a Charted Engineer with a MEng degree in Fire and Explosion engineering.
James spent three year working as a fire engineer in the UK before moving to California to work as a Fire Life Safety Engineer where he worked on a wide range of US projects gaining an in-depth knowledge of International Design Codes and Standards. The projects he is most proud of include Google Spruce Goose, Los Angeles Airport Connector, Los Angeles International Airport T2/T3 Renovations, Lusail Stadium, Manchester Engineering Campus and Loma Linda University Medical Centre.
James’ key interests are working throughout the construction lifecycle from design, construction, commissioning and operational management, as well as automation and collaboration through BIM.
