We are excited to welcome Agboola to the DFC team; he will be based in our Manchester office and joins us as a graduate fire engineer. Agboola holds a MEng (Hons) in Structural and Fire Safety Engineering from the University of Edinburgh. Since joining DFC, Agboola has already been involved in a conservation and refurbishment project regarding a Grade 2* listed building, a tricky site with some design constraints.

As an undergraduate, Agboola developed his interest into fire safety engineering primarily through his selections of fire-related elective courses. These elective courses provided further insights into a wide range of fire-related topics such as fire science, computational modelling, structural fire engineering.

Outside of work, Agboola enjoys collecting film SLR cameras, especially Nikons from the late 1970s and early 1980s. Alongside camera-collecting, Agboola also enjoys cycling and would love to also collect bicycles too if only they were easier to stash away – like cameras!
