Project Description
Manchester’s St. Michael’s is a landmark development, comprising two distinct projects; No.1, a 183,000 sq ft human-centric commercial office space whilst No.2 is a hotel/residential led development. DFC has been appointed to provide fire engineering services on both.
No.2 is a 41-storey tower, mixed hotel/residential development, which will be home to the W Hotel by Marriot: a 162-bed, 5-star hotel and featuring 25-storeys offering 217 high-end residential apartments. Serving as the second major phase of the St Michael’s project, the hotel and residential tower are significant components of the development. The project includes the partial demolition of the vacant Premier House office building to accommodate the 41-storey tower.
