Recent Projects Success
We’re delighted to share exciting news about several innovative projects that our talented engineers have been involved in recently. These projects not only demonstrate our team’s technical expertise but also embody DFC’s culture and values, as further explained by one of DFC’s Directors, Iain Macfarlane in his recent blog post, “Sharing thoughts behind culture and values”. Our team is proud to have played a part in their success.
Greenhaus: Pioneering Sustainability Winner
Recently, we’ve been privileged to see well-deserved recognition awarded to projects where DFC played a key role in providing fire safety engineering services. Notably the remarkable Greenhaus project in Salford, winner of the 2024 Insider North West Residential Property Awards, Sustainability Award. Greenhaus stands among the UK’s pioneering medium-rise Passivhaus schemes, is one of the largest in the North West and a key element of English Cities Fund (ECF) £1billion, 50-acre transformation of Salford Central. DFC is proud to have contributed to this groundbreaking development, supporting the success of ECF’s wider Salford masterplan projects, including the Atelier and the Valette Square projects in Salford for ECF, a joint venture between Muse Developments, Legal & General and the Homes & Communities Agency.
