DFC’s Leeds Relocation to the Granary Marks Expansion Milestone
DFC is proud to announce the relocation of its Leeds office to The Granary, a notable canal-side warehouse located in the heart of Leeds’ South Bank. This Grade II* listed building boasts a rich history dating back to the 18th Century and forms an integral part of the beloved Granary Wharf development, showcasing Leeds’ industrial heritage. DFC’s suite at The Granary is filled with unique characteristic features, including original stone walls, cast iron columns and arched ceilings.
DFC’s move to The Granary represents another milestone in the company’s journey. With its prime location, captivating surroundings and exceptional amenities, the new office is poised to enhance collaboration, inspire creativity and deliver outstanding service to clients.
From its humble beginnings in Leeds in 2010, DFC has established itself as a leading independent consultancy in fire engineering, with offices in London, Manchester, Sheffield, and Leeds, boasting a dedicated team of 45 staff across the country.
The continued commitment to growth has necessitated a move to a larger office space in Leeds. This move ensures that DFC can continue to accommodate its ever-growing team in a friendly, welcoming environment, providing them with the necessary resources to deliver exceptional service and drive innovation within fire engineering.
The new space provides a wealth of breakout spaces for teamwork and collaboration, state of the art IT facilities for inter-office communication, plenty of space for our visiting colleagues and partners, and a comfortable, relaxed environment for work and social gatherings too. DFC is also committed to sustaining a healthy work-life balance and promoting eco-friendly transportation options. The new office offers complimentary bike storage and shower facilities for the convenience of employees and visitors, providing an office that facilitates their employees’ cycling commute.
Under the leadership of Directors Neal Butterworth, Jonny Joinson, Iain Macfarlane and Adam Monaghan, the new Leeds office clearly outlines DFC’s ambition to grow their Leeds team over the coming years and strengthen their roots in the city where they were first established.
As DFC continues to expand its footprint, clients can expect exceptional service, expert guidance, and innovative solutions to protect lives, assets, and the built environment.
