Project Description
Building D3 is the first building on the new Didsbury Technology Park site, located between Sir William Siemens House and Spire Hospital in Didsbury. Work began in January 2018 and will provide 20,000 square feet of purpose-built commercial workspace once complete in early 2019.
DFC produced the Building Regulations fire strategy. The key challenges were to seek efficiency from the fire safety systems and features within the building without compromising on the safety afforded to the occupants. This included adopting a single core solution with minimal fire resisting partitions internally. We have also advised on a number of tenancy split arrangements and considered the future tenants fire strategy needs.
DFC has also been appointed by the contractor to provide specific advice on issues during the construction phase.
