Project Description
DFC has been appointed on Circle Square to provide fire engineering on the landmark development on Oxford Road in Manchester. Circle Square will provide over 1.1million sq ft of residential, commercial and public space, creating a new destination for Manchester city centre.
Ranging from an underground entertainment venue, to high rise Grade A commercial offices and residential towers, Circle Square provides an opportunity for DFC to deploy many fire safety skills, such as extension of travel distances, structural fire engineering, evacuation assessment and external fire spread analysis. Each of these fire engineering challenges have been adopted to allow modern living while providing more relevant fire protection measures that are focused to the needs of each building.
