Project Description
The development includes ten floor levels of high-end residential apartments, served by a single stair, with spa, gym, pool and car parking facilities in the basement.
DFC has been appointed to assist Mace in advising on the fire safety design of the external wall build-ups. This includes cavity barriers, fire stops, fire rating of the facade, combustibility of materials and surface spread of flame ratings.
Key to our involvement is ensuring that the proposed solutions are commercially viable. Efficient advice, and close liaison with the approving authorities, is required in order to ensure that the principal contractor and developer achieve on time practical completion.
