Project Description
The Science and Industry Museum’s Special Exhibitions Gallery, designed by architects Carmody Groarke has been named as Heritage Project of the year and the RIBA North West Awards 2022 winner.
Working closely with the design team, DFC was able to assist with key design aspirations such as the opening up of the front of house stair providing a clear link between ground and lower ground spaces. Additionally, DFC worked to maximise the occupancy capacity whilst working within the constraints of the existing building and without impacting other areas of the building.
