We are delighted to announce that Iolanda Del Prete has joined DFC as an Associate in our London office.

Iolanda is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). She holds a PhD in Structural Fire Engineering, through a collaboration with University of Naples and University of Edinburgh.

Prior to joining DFC, Iolanda spent ten years at an international multidisciplinary engineering company in their London office. During this time, she developed extensive experience in applying performance-based designs for structural fire assessments across various project types, including large assembly buildings, sports and entertainment venues, educational institutions, mixed-use occupancy, multi-storey buildings, and industrial facilities. Notably, Iolanda’s recent involvement includes Structural Fire Design for iconic developments such as Battersea Power Station, Everton Stadium, and Manchester City Football Club.

Outside of work, Iolanda enjoys baking, travelling, swimming and spending time with her family and friends.
