James O’Hanlon joins DFC

We don’t know what the time threshold for “news” is, but we are nevertheless thrilled that James O’Hanlon joined DFC and would like to tell the world.

James joined DFC in early 2020 after living and working in Los Angeles for 3 year as a Fire Life Safety Engineer with an additional 4 years of fire engineering experience in the UK. James has worked on projects across the UK, USA (majority in California) and the Middle East, and also recently gained chartered engineer status with the Institution of Fire Engineers.

After a short couple of weeks with DFC, lockdown happened and James has spent the majority of his time with DFC working from his kitchen table, with his DFC screen and desk chair.

“Working from home has been easier than I expected having just joined a new company. It has been helped by the fact that I have worked with a large number of the team before and all my new team mates are very friendly, supportive and up for a chat maintaining the team atmosphere. I am looking forward to a time when our virtual Friday beers becomes a in person Friday beer.”

James is also a keen home brewer and we look forward to sampling his product soon.
