Globe Works is a Grade II* listed building, in Kelham Island, Sheffield.
Voted in Time Out magazine as one of the ‘coolest neighbourhoods in the world’, Kelham Island is a nationally important Conservation Area, once home to the famous Sheffield Steel cutlery production industry. Kelham Island is the site of some important redevelopment work that DFC will be involved in over the coming years.
Surrounding areas offer an array of local cafes, bars and restaurants to make use of during or after work. Kelham Island has an industrial-hip vibe popular with real ale lovers and foodies.
The office is approximately 20-minute walk from Sheffield City Station or can be accessed by the Supertram network (Shalesmoor) directly from the station or Meadowhall Interchange.
The DFC office has beautifully high ceilings and an industrial-heritage-modern interior. It has raisable desks as standard, an internal meeting space and acoustic pod for solo working or Teams calls, with views from the large windows across Kelham Island. There are bike storage and shower facilities in the building.
